Garlicky Baked Clam Dip
- 14 lb butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 14 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 4 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
- 12 cup breadcrumbs
- 13 ounces chopped clams, undrained
- Saute onion and garlic in the butter until softened.
- Add all other ingredients and mix well.
- Heat through.
- Place in a casserole dish and bake in the oven at 400* for twenty minutes.
- This can alsobe heated in the microwave if desired.
- Serve with crusty French bread.
- This recipe can be increased by four but only use 3/4 pound of butter to eliminate it being to greasy.
