Ed's Lasagna
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 lb low-fat sausage
- 34 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon basil leaves
- 3 cups cottage cheese
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 (16 ounce) box lasagna noodles (cooked)
- 34 lb mozzarella cheese
- 12 cup parmesan cheese
- Brown turkey burger, sausage, onion and garlic.
- Drain.
- Add tomatoes and break up.
- Stir in tomato sauce, parsley flakes, sugar and basil.
- Simmer 45 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, salt and oregano.
- In a 9x13 inch pan, layer noodles, cottage cheese mixture and meat sauce.
- Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350*.
- Cool for 15 minutes then serve.
