Molly's Apple Creme Pie Recipe
- 1 (20 ounce.) can pie-sliced apples
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
- 1 c. Marshmallow creme
- 1 tbsp. grated lemon peel
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Drain apples, reserving 1 Tbsp.
- liquid.
- Arrange apples in pastry shell.
- Combine Marshmallow Creme, reserved liquid and lemon peel and juice, mixing with wire whisk till well blended.
- Add in raisins and mix well.
- Spread Marshmallow Creme mix over apples.
- Combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle over pie.
