Easiest Tamales Ever

  1. Mix together dough ingredients.
  2. You may have to add a tad bit more masa, you want it to be just stiff enough not much sticks to your finger if you touch it.
  3. Set aside dough.
  4. Slice potatoes into long strips, and slice onion.
  5. Separate rings.
  6. Its easiest if you have all your filling in easily accessible dishes for quickness.
  7. Spoon some dough onto a strip of foil and flatten.
  8. Add raw potato slices, olives, onion, cheese and taco sauce.
  9. Fold foil in half, and press edge to seal.
  10. Roll and fold ends.
  11. Steam for one hour.
  12. Remove tamales and let drain.
  13. Let them sit for about fifteen min to completely set, then try not to get fluffy from eating too many :)
