Getcha Going Bran Muffins!! Yum!
- 3 cups natural bran
- 2 cups oil
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 cups buttermilk
- 4 tablespoons corn syrup
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup flour
- 2 cups bran flakes
- 2 cups all-bran cereal
- 1 cup red river cereal
- 6 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cups raisins
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- Pour 3 cups boiling water over 3 cups natural bran.
- Let cool.
- Mix and beat well: oil, brown sugar, eggs, buttermilk, corn syrup.
- Mix: whole wheat flour, white flour, bran flakes, all bran, sunny boy cereal, baking soda, salt, raisins, and oats.
- Combine steps 1 & 2.
- Add 1 cup water.
- Add step 3.
- Mix well.
- Refrigerate 2 days before baking.
- Can be kept in air tight container up to 2 weeks in fridge.
- Bake at 400F for 20 minutes.
