Pear Cake

  1. beat sugar and fat.
  2. beat in eggs and vanilla one at a time until mix looks pale and creamy.
  3. beat in sifted flour, baking soda and cinnamon.
  4. mix in remaining ingredients.
  5. Bake until skewer come out clean.
  6. For a 7" round tin line up and above the sides and bake at 175 degress for 1 hour 30 min, this will make a very high cake and is the longest way to cook it.
  7. Dust with icing sugar.
