Butter Biscuit Pie
- 150 grams shortcrust pastry
- 75 grams plain biscuits
- 50 grams melted butter
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp milk, plus extra for brushing.
- Firstly if choosing to make the pastry.
- See attachment for recipe details.
- Half the quantity to make 150g.
- However you can use shop brought pastry.
- Crush or blitz the biscuits to breadcrumb size.
- In a bowl mix the rest of the ingredients together.
- Roll the pastry out as stated in the recipe.
- Pre heat the oven to gas mark 6/ 200c.
- Pour the batter onto the pastry.
- Fold all edges together and press down to keep it from splitting.
- Place parcel on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
- Brush with the milk.
- Place in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Serve warm and with cream.
