Braised BBQ Ribs with Sauce
- 16 each beef short ribs Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 qt. BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce
- 2 qt. chicken broth
- 2 qt. canned diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 cup jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
- Cook short ribs in hot oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat until browned on all sides, turning occasionally; drain.
- Combine remaining ingredients; add to pan with ribs.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low; cover.
- Simmer 2 to 2-1/2 hours or until ribs are cooked through and tender.
