Creamy Spring Pasta & Chicken Skillet
- 1-1/2 cups whole grain penne pasta, uncooked
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 cup fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup fresh peas
- 1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 cup (1/2 of 8-oz. tub) PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. lemon zest Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 3/4 cup STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken in the Canister
- Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding vegetables to the boiling water for the last 3 min.
- Meanwhile, cook chicken in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat 5 to 7 min.
- or until done, stirring frequently.
- Add reduced-fat cream cheese, milk and lemon zest; cook and stir 2 to 3 min.
- or until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
- Drain pasta.
- Add to chicken mixture; stir.
- Sprinkle with stuffing mix.
