Outstanding Alfredo Sauce
- 12 cup butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese or 1 cup romano cheese
- 14 cup minced parsley
- pich salt
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- Melt one stick of butter in a medium saucepan.
- Chop the garlic small and sautee over medium heat about 3 minutes (do not let the garlic get brown).
- Pour in the heavy cream.
- Once the cream is heated through, add the parmesean cheese, salt and pepper.
- Stir over medium heat about 10 minutes--you can increase the heat slightly, but stir frequently, making sure it doesn't stick to the bottom of pan.
- Add the minced parsley and pour over your favorite hot pasta!
