Gram's Apricot Bars Recipe

  1. Cover apricots with water, boil 10 min.
  2. Drain; cold; chop.
  3. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  4. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.
  5. Mix butter, granulated sugar and 1 c. flour till crumbly.
  6. Pack into pan.
  7. Bake 25 min.
  8. Sift 1/3 c. flour, baking pwdr, salt.
  9. Gradually beat brown sugar into Large eggs; fold in flour mix.
  10. Then vanilla, nuts and apricots.
  11. Spread over baked layer.
  12. Bake 30 min or possibly till done.
  13. Cold.
  14. Cut into 32 bars.
  15. Roll in confectioners' sugar.
