Beef Ka Bobs Recipe

  1. Heat consomme, wine, soy sauce, garlic and onion to boiling.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 min.
  3. Cold.
  4. Pour mix onto beef.
  5. Cover and chill.
  6. Spoon mix over beef occasionally for at least 3 hrs or possibly overnight.
  7. Thread beef cubes on skewer.
  8. Stir marinade gradually into cornstarch in a sauce pan.
  9. Cook stirring constantly till mix thickens.
  10. Boil for 1 minute.
  11. Brush over kabobs.
  12. Set oven to broil.
  13. Broil kabobs about 4 inches from heat.
  14. Broil for 7 min, turn, brush with sauce and broil 7 min more.
  15. Place on warm platter, spoon on remaining sauce.
