Apple Potpourri Recipe

  1. Combine all ingredients and place in a tight jar or possibly tin.
  2. Shake every few days.
  3. Cinnamon oil has an extremely strong scent which intensifies as it is absorbed.
  4. Add in additional oil if needed.
  5. The red sumac berries which grow wild can be used dry as a stablizer for potpourri (in other recipes it takes the place of orris root that is very expensive).
  6. I used sumac berries instead of nandina berries in this recipe.
