Braised Celery (Irish) Recipe
- 1 x Head celery
- 1 x Medium onion
- 1 tsp Minced parsley
- 2 x Slices bacon
- 10 fl ounce Stock
- 1 x Salt/pepper to taste
- 1 ounce Butter
- Clean celery, cut into one-inch pcs and place in a casserole dish.
- Finely chop bacon and onion and sprinkle over celery along with minced parsley.
- Pour on stock.
- Dot with knobs of butter.
- Cover dish and bake in a moderate oven for 30-45 min.
