Lynne's Favorite Marinara Recipe

  1. Saute/fry onion, garlic, carrots in extra virgin olive oil till onion and garlic are tender.
  2. Add in tomatoes, broth, wine and seasonings.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer till carrots are tender.
  4. Make roux with flour and butter.
  5. Add in to sauce.
  6. Check seasonings.
  7. Puree mix in blender and return to pot.
  8. Keep hot.
  9. Serve with linguine.
