Skillet Barbecued Pork Chops Recipe
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 (1/2 inch thick) pork loin chops or possibly steaks
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. chili sauce or possibly ketchup
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. honey
- In small bowl, combine garlic pwdr, ginger and pepper; blend well.
- Sprinkle mix on both sides of pork chops.
- (Reserve any remaining garlic pwdr mix).
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
- Add in pork chops; cook 2 to 3 min on each side or possibly till browned.
- In small bowl, combine chili sauce, soy sauce, honey and any remaining garlic pwdr mix; blend well.
- Pour over pork chops.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 to 15 min or possibly till pork chops are tender.
- Serve with warm cooked rice or possibly potatoes, if you like.
- Serves 4.
