Chocolate Cut Out Cookies Recipe

• 1/2 c. shortening
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 tbsp. lowfat milk
• 2 sq. melted chocolate (unsweetened)
• 1/2 teaspoon soda
• 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1 3/4 c. flour

1. Cream shortening and sugar.
2. Add in egg, vanilla, lowfat milk and chocolate; mix well.
3. Add in soda, baking pwdr and flour.
4. Roll into ball.
5. Refrigeratetill hard.
6. Roll and cut with favorite cookie cutter.
7. Bake at 400 degrees 6 to 8 min.
8. Frost with powdered sugar frosting or possibly decorate with sugars before baking.
9. Makes 5 to 6 dozen cookies.
