Make-A-Mix Tropic Macaroons

• 1 cup flour
• 13 cup sugar
• 14 cup brown sugar
• 12 teaspoon salt
• 18 teaspoon baking soda
• 38 cup vegetable shortening
• 2 egg yolks
• 1 (8 1/2 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
• 1 14 cups shredded coconut
• maraschino cherry, for garnish

1. Preheat oven to 350F Lightly grease baking sheets.
2. In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups cookie mix, egg yolks, pineapple, and coconut.
3. Stir until well blended.
4. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
5. Top with maraschino cherries.
6. Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
