Thai Beef Salad
- tri-tip or beef sirloin steak Whole Foods 1 lb For $7.99 thru 02/09
- 4 cups Kraft Catalina Dressing, divided
- savoy cabbage
- red onion, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sesame seed
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- Brush steak with 1 cup dressing.
- Cover, refrigerate and let marinate while preparing remaining ingredients.
- Place cabbage and onion on serving plates.
- Broil steak 7-8 minutes or until desired doneness.
- Slice steak, across the grain, into thin strips.
- Heat remaining dressing, soy sauce, brown sugar and pepper flakes.
- Add steak strips; arrange mixture over salad.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.
- Serve warm.
