Dinner for Dad

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F.
  2. Spray the inside and lid of a cast-iron Dutch oven with canola oil.
  3. Shake the hash browns into the pot to distribute evenly and season lightly with salt.
  4. Scatter the onions over the potatoes; then add the steak.
  5. Spread steak sauce on the meat and scatter in the mushrooms.
  6. Distribute the carrots in a layer and then fill the pot with green beans.
  7. Tuck the rosemary sprigs into crevices.
  8. Cover and bake for about 30 minutes, or until 3 minutes after the aroma of a fully cooked meal escapes the oven.
  9. Serve immediately.
