Chocolate Chip Meltaways(In Honor Of Single G)
- 2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. oil (I prefer Wesson vegetable oil)
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. granulated white sugar
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 4 c. flour
- 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 oz. pkg. pecan chips (optional)
- Mix all ingredients in order given.
- Chill dough for 10 minutes before making cookies.
- Between the making of cookie batches, put dough in the refrigerator until ready to use each time.
- Drop cookie dough by teaspoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a 325u0b0
- oven until lightly browned on the bottoms and somewhat firm on the tops (around 10 minutes).
