Peaches in Muscat with Honey
- 1/2 cup dessert wine, such as Beaumes de Venise or California Muscat
- 1/2 cup crushed fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 large ripe peaches, preferably white, sliced 1/3 inch thick
- In a large glass bowl, combine the wine, basil and honey.
- Add the peaches and let macerate at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours before serving.
