Baked Brie Dip
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, Chopped
- 16 ounces, weight Brie, Rind Removed, Cubed
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese (light Is Fine), Cubed
- 3/4 cups Sour Cream (light Is Fine)
- 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a large baking dish with cooking spray.
- Heat the butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add the chopped onions and garlic and cook until softened and translucent.
- This should take about 10 minutes.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl combine the cubed brie and cream cheese.
- Melt in the microwave for 23 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the sour cream, onion mixture, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper.
- Pour the brie mixture into the baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake in the oven until bubbly and warmed through, 20-30 minutes.
