Philly Cheese Steak
- 1 (2 lb) top round beef roast
- instant chicken bouillon granules
- 2 ounces sliced onions
- 2 ounces sliced green peppers
- 4 slices cheese
- 5 (8 inch) hero buns
- Rub the meat with chicken base and put it into a large container.
- Allow the beef to marinate, overnight, in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Put the beef into a large roasting pan and roast it until rare, about 2 1/2 hours.
- Remove the roast to a cutting board and let cool before thinly slicing.
- Saute the onions and peppers together in a grill pan over medium-low heat until softened.
- Add 6 ounces of thinly sliced beef over the peppers and onions.
- Top with slices of cheese and allow it to melt.
- Put the grilled meat, cheese, onions and peppers on the hero bun and serve.
