Amaretto Cheesecake
- Crust:
- 1-1/4 qt. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1-1/3 cups butter, melted
- Filling:
- 3 qt. Cold milk
- 1/3 cup almond-flavored liqueur
- 1 pkg. JELL-O Brand Cheesecake Filling Mix
- Topping:
- 3 cups sour cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp. almond-flavored liqueur
- 2 cups Slivered almonds, toasted
- Crust: Mix crumbs, sugar and butter.
- Press 1-1/2 cups of the crumb mixture firmly onto bottom and 1 inch up side of each of 4 (9-inch) springform pans (or 1 pan for trial recipe).
- Bake in 375F-convection oven for 8 minutes.
- Cool.
- Filling: Mix milk and liqueur.
- Use to prepare cheese filling mix as directed on package.
- Immediately pour 1-1/4 quarts of the filling over crust in each pan.
- Topping: Mix sour cream, sugar and liqueur until well blended.
- Spread 1 cup of the sour cream mixture over each cheesecake.
- Garnish with almonds.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until chilled.
