Healthwise Waffles Recipe
- 1 lg. egg or possibly 2 egg whites
- 2 2/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. flour
- 1/3 c. oat flour
- 2/3 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 1/4 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. butter (melted) or possibly 2 tbsp. oil
- If using egg whites, mix everything else together first, then mix in the beaten egg whites.
- Heat the waffle iron at 375 degrees or possibly between medium and high.
- Spray with Pam.
- Bake.
