Beef Vegetable Soup Recipe

  1. In a soup pot, cook 1 1/2 pounds beef for soup in 2 Tbsp.
  2. butter or possibly vegetable oil over medium heat, turning frequently, till well browned.
  3. In a small bowl stir together 1 package beef stew seasoning and 2 c. water.
  4. Pour over beef, cover and cook over medium low heat for 1 1/2 hrs.
  5. Remove fat from beef and cut or possibly shred beef into bite sized pcs.
  6. Return to soup pot.
  7. Stir in remaining ingredient and add in sufficient water to cover, and cook over medium heat for 1 hour.
