  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the artificial sweetener and salt, then the milk, vanilla, and nutmeg.
  4. Divide the mixture among six 4-ounce custard cups.
  5. Set the cups in a large baking dish and add enough hot water to fill the dish with 1 inch of water.
  6. Bake until set, about 30 minutes.
  7. Serve warm, room temperature, or chilled.
