Easy Microwave Kabocha Squash Kinpira for Bentos

  1. I used 1/6 of the squash but you can adjust the amount to use.
  2. Slice it thin and then into thin strips.
  3. ( Be careful because it's hard )
  4. Put it in a microwaveable container and add all ingredients.
  5. Mix it at this point.
  6. Cover it and heat it up in a microwave for about 2 minutes.
  7. Take it out from the microwave once and mix it the second time and cover it again and heat in the microwave for about another 1 minute.
  8. The basic dish is ready now.
  9. I sprinkled with some various toppings as shown below.
  10. With sesame seeds.
  11. With bonito flakes.
  12. I cooked it with miso and added kidney beans.
  13. Make this easy kabocha squash kinpira any way you like.
