Crockpot Carnitas
- 4 pounds Pork Tenderloins
- 4 cloves Garlic, Pressed
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1- 1/2 cup Cilantro, Snipped
- 1 cup Salsa, Use Any Variety
- 1/4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1/4 cups Tequila (or Beer Works Too)
- 1 can (4 Oz. Size) Chopped Green Chilies
- 1 whole Orange, Juiced
- 12 whole Flour Tortillas, Warmed, To Serve
- Place pork in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle with garlic, oil, salt, pepper and cumin.
- Top with cilantro, salsa (I like to use Chi-Chis Original), broth, tequila, green chilies, and orange juice.
- Cover and cook on low for about 68 hours.
- Shred pork with two forks and continue to cook until heated through.
- Serve on a tortilla with shredded cheese, sliced avocado, red onion, tomat , lettuce and fresh cilantro.
- Enjoy!
