Beef Gravy Mix Recipe

  1. Makes about 2 2/3 c.
  2. Combine lowfat milk pwdr, flour, bouillon granules, thyme, onion pwdr, and sage.
  3. Stir with a wire whisk to blend.
  4. Use a pastry blender or possibly 2 knives to cut in butter or possibly margarine till proportionately distributed.
  5. Drizzle brown sauce for gravy over mix.
  6. Stir with wire whisk till blended.
  7. Spoon into a 3 c. container with atight fitting lid.
  8. Label withh date and contents.
  9. Sotre in refrigerator.
  10. Use within 4 to 6 weeks.
  11. TO MAKE BEEF GRAVY: Pour water into a small saucepan.
  12. Use a whisk to stir beef gravy mix into water.
  13. Stir constantly over medium heat till gravy is smooth and slightly thiickened, 2 to 3 min.
  14. Makes about 1 c..
