Cheese Spaghetti Kids Love
- 8 -10 ounces thin spaghetti (you can use other types)
- 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 5 slices American cheese
- salt & pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can pork and beans
- Break dry spaghetti into thirds and cook in boiling water until done to your preference (usually about 10 minutes).
- Drain.
- In small saucepot over medium heat, melt cheese in the evaporated milk stirring constantly to create sauce.
- Add in salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour sauce over drained spaghetti and stir to coat.
- Put beans in a saucepot or microwave dish and add about 1/4 to 1/3 can of water swooshing around to "wash sides" and add to the beans.
- Heat to serving temperature.
- Drain off some of the liquid into a glass measuring cup to be used like gravy.
- After serving the spaghetti.
- Pour some of the reserved "gravy" on top of the spaghetti.
- Serve the beans as a side dish.
