Homemade Horseradish and Creamy Sauce
- 1 cup peeled and cubed horseradish root
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup horseradish sauce
- Combine all ingredients in a processor or blender; process until pureed.
- Carefully remove cover, keeping face away from container.
- Cover and store in the fridge.
- Use as a condiment.
- Creamy Horseradish Sauce: In a mixing bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form.
- Add mayonnaise and salt; blend thoroughly.
- Fold in horseradish.
- Chill until ready to serve.
- Use as a condiment with meats.
