Robert's Dipping Oil (For Bread)
- 12 cup carapelli premium extra virgin olive oil
- 1 -2 arbol chile, dried (Usually in produce dept.)
- 12 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, chopped (I like roasted garlic from a jar also)
- 12 teaspoon kosher salt
- Place all ingredients in a microwavable container and heat until hot but not boiling.
- (Can do on stovetop in saucepan).
- Let cool completely.
- Place in jar or bottle with tight fitting lid and let stand in refrigerator for 24 hours.
- When ready to use, shake or stir to incorporate ingredients.
- Place in microwavable container and warm slightly.
- Great with fresh french bread or your favorite bread.
- Cooking time includes time in refrigerator.
