Texas Toast Pizza Burgers
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Chuck
- 12 slices Frozen Cheese Texas Toast, Thawed
- 1- 1/2 cup Any Pizza Sauce
- 6 slices Mozzarella Cheese
- 24 slices Pepperoni
- This recipe makes 6 sandwiches.
- Pat out the ground chuck into 6 patties.
- In a large skillet on medium heat, cook until no longer pink inside, about 6 minutes per side.
- Heat griddle and on medium heat place the cheese side of the Texas toast down, top with 4 Tablespoons of pizza sauce, cooked beef patty, 1 slice of the mozzerella cheese, 4 slices pepperoni, and top with another 4 Tablespoons of pizza sauce and the top slice of cheese bread (cheese side up).
- Grill until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
- This takes about 5 minutes per side .
- Use remaining sauce for dipping or for extra on burgers.
