Three Herb Pesto With Walnuts
- 1 cup fresh basil
- 12 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 12 cup fresh dill
- 12 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 12 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons grated romano cheese
- 12 cup pasta cooking liquid
- 1 lb cooked spaghetti, warm
- Finely chop the herbs, walnuts and garlic in a food processor.
- With motor running, gradually add the olive oil.
- Add the cheese.
- Remove 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking liquid before draining the pasta.
- Toss hot pasta with the sauce and reserved liquid.
- Serve.
