Herbed Sun-Dried Tomato & Parmesan Bread
- 2-1/4 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1 egg
- 1-1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Aged Grated Cheese
- 1/3 cup drained oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, patted dry, finely chopped
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix first 6 ingredients in medium bowl.
- Whisk egg, milk and butter in separate bowl until blended.
- Add to flour mixture along with cheese and tomatoes; stir just until moistened.
- Pour into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 45 min.
- or until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
- Cool bread in pan 15 min.
- Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
