Lazy Cabbage Roll Casserole
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Beef
- 3/4 cups Chopped Onion
- 6 cups Shredded Cabbage
- 1 cup Long Grain Rice, Uncooked
- 1 can Tomato Soup (10 Oz)
- 1- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 3 cups Tomato Juice
- Scramble fry the ground beef with the onion until no longer pink.
- Spray a large casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Layer 2 cups of the cabbage, 1/2 cup of the rice followed by half the ground beef mixture.
- Repeat layers and top with remaining cabbage.
- Mix the tomato soup with the salt, water and 2 cups of the tomato juice.
- Pour over the top of the casserole.
- Add tomato juice as needed to just barely cover the casserole.
- Cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 2 hours or until the cabbage and rice are tender.
