Home-Style Meat Loaf
- 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. ground veal
- 1/4 lb. ground pork
- 2 1/2 c. fresh breadcrumbs
- 1 c. finely chopped fresh onion (1 large)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 3 Tbsp. catsup
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 eggs
- Combine meat, breadcrumbs, onion, salt, pepper, milk, parsley, catsup, mustard, Worcestershire and eggs in large bowl.
- Press mixture into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Meat loaf may be baked in the pan or, if preferred, turned out onto greased baking dish.
- If baking unmolded, cover meat with several strips of bacon.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
