Celery Leaves Tsukudani (Sweet-Salty Simmered Celery Leaves)
- 100 grams Celery leaves (Thin stems are also OK )
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- Boil the celery leaves for 10 seconds and chop finely.
- Squeeze out the water lightly.
- Stir fry the celery leaves with soy sauce and sugar over low heat, until the liquid is absorbed and evaporated (about 5 minutes).
- Toss sesame seeds, and enjoy.
- The fragrant smell whets your appetite.
- On steamed rice.
- For rice balls.
- As an ingredient of a rolled omelette... Celery lovers can make their own variations.
