Stove Top Penne Casserole
- 8 ounces dry penne pasta or 8 ounces other pastas
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cups milk
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups frozen peas, thawed
- cook pasta in a large saucepan for 2 minutes less than package directions, then drain.
- saute the onion in saucepan on medium-high heat.
- reduce the heat to medium then stir in pumpkin, milk, tomato sauce, sugar, spices, and worcestershire sauce.
- cook until mixture begins to simmer.
- add peas and pasta then stir until heated.
