caramelized pears (easy)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 medium bosc pears
- melt butter in a medium frying pan over medium heat.
- when it is foaming sprinkle sugar on top and cook until bubbling and dissolved.
- about 3 minutes.
- add pears and cook, stirring rarely, untill mixture is caramelized and pears are soft and begin to release thier juices.
