caramelized pears (easy)

  1. melt butter in a medium frying pan over medium heat.
  2. when it is foaming sprinkle sugar on top and cook until bubbling and dissolved.
  3. about 3 minutes.
  4. add pears and cook, stirring rarely, untill mixture is caramelized and pears are soft and begin to release thier juices.
