Round Steak Skillet Meal

  1. Cut steak into 6 serving size pieces. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Pound flour mixture into the steak. Brown in hot oil. Add bouillon cube, water, celery, onion and carrots.
  2. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until steak is tender. Add small amounts of water as needed.
  3. Saute mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and peas to the meat mixture. Simmer for 10 more minutes. Serve.
  4. Makes 6 servings.
