Brown Basmati Lemon Rice Recipe

  1. Rinse the rice and soak it for 20 min in cool water.
  2. Drain.
  3. Add in all the ingredients except for the parsley to a 2-qt pot.
  4. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, stir, and simmer, covered, for 20 min, or possibly till the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked.
  5. Garnish with the minced parsley.
  6. We had this for dinner tonight and it was absolutely fabulous.
  7. I especially loved the rice.
  8. The chicken Grilled Chicken Skewers In a Spiced Yogurt Marinade initially tasted a bit bitter, but the flavors of both dishes together evened out.
