Slow Cooked Carne Guisada
- 2 lb beef stew meat
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 4 clove crushed garlic
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 2 cup water
- 4 oz can diced hatch chilis
- My slow cooker has a 4, 6, 8 and 10 hour setting.
- Put your olive oil in first and I set mine on 8 hours for fall apart meat.
- It's pretty simple, add all ingredients into slow cooker, stir and cover.
- Stir occasionally and keep the fluid as a gravy consistency, adding small amounts of water as needed.
