Hawaiian Beef Dinner

  1. In Dutch oven or heavy kettle, brown beef in fat.
  2. Add onion, salt, garlic and ginger. Drain pineapple and reserve syrup. Add enough water to syrup to make 1 1/2 cups. Add 1/2 cup to meat and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover and simmer 2 hours or until meat is tender.
