Tomato And Green Pepper Steak Recipe
- 4-5 lg. slices cube steak
- Flour
- Oil
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 green peppers, cut into strips
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper
- Flour meat and brown in a small amount of oil.
- As meat browns, remove from pan and place into casserole dish.
- Add in onions and green pepper to pan and brown lightly.
- Add in can of tomatoes and bring all to boil.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Place bay leaves over meat in casserole; pour tomato mix over meat.
- Bake in 300 degree oven for 2 hrs or possibly till meat is tender.
- Serve with rice or possibly noodles.
