Sausage And Cheese On Rye Recipe

  1. Fry out sausage fat in Teflon pan.
  2. Crumble sausage.
  3. Drain well.
  4. Remove sausage from pan but do not wash pan.
  5. Now heat 2 pound (cubed) Velveeta.
  6. Return crumbled sausage to melted cheese.
  7. Add in 1/2 package dry onion soup mix, barbecue sauce or possibly catsup.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Spread on 3 loaves of party rye.
  10. If you like, freeze putting wax paper between layers.
  11. Bake in 350 degree oven on Teflon cookie sheet 10 to 15 min.
