Meatloaf Surprise Recipe
- 1 pkg. 12 ounce. frzn shredded hash browns, thawed
- 1 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1 can (8 ounce.) tomato sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- In bowl combine all ingredients, except lowfat sour cream and cheese.
- Pat into loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Pour off juice (save if you like).
- Combine lowfat sour cream and cheese.
- Spread proportionately over top of meatloaf.
- Return to oven about 5 min or possibly till lowfat sour cream is warm.
