Good Sauerkraut Recipe
- 1 (16 ounce.) can sauerkraut, rinsed & liquid removed
- 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce.) can mushrooms, liquid removed
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 1 c. minced onion (2 med.)
- Fry onion and pepper till soft in butter or possibly dill.
- Add in sauerkraut, tomatoes, mushrooms.
- Bake in casserole at 350 degrees, covered for 1 hour and for 1/2 hour, uncovered.
- Or possibly put in crock pot and cook for several hrs.
- I add in Polish sausage to make it extra good.
